Course Objectives The aim of this course is to make the students learn about definition and principles of psychological counselling and guidance, counseling theories, basic counseling skills, guidance services in preschool, intervention of crisis and consultation and communication with children.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Identify definition and principles of psychological counselling and guidance.
  • Explain approaches and areas of counseling and guidance.
  • Explain basic counseling skills.
  • Explain counseling theories.
  • Plan a crisis intervention and consultation.
  • Explain items of communication with children.
